The First of Many...

Hello Friend!

Words can't begin to describe the anticipation and excitement we feel for the season of ministry ahead. Even writing this newsletter feels surreal, like we are putting the first brush of paint on the canvas of a painting we've been anxiously waiting to begin. This is the first of many newsletters sharing updates on the ministry, testimonies, prayer requests, encouragements, and devotionals. We hope they encourage you, challenge you, and give special insight as to how you can be supporting us.

So thank you. Thank you for your support and for joining us on this wonderful journey. We are so grateful.

May the Lord bless each one of us beyond measure as we follow the Spirit's lead!

So here are a few updates on life and ministry lately!

  • While we were in California we had some really exciting and encouraging conversations with churches and individuals about our ministry and the Lord showed up in amazing ways! Support continues to come in!
  • We are having conversations with different Universities to begin the process of getting on campus this year to reach students! Praise God!
  • The 4th Annual Kelli's Kegs and Eggs 5k Race to Support brain Cancer Research took place on Saturday and it went great! So far, over $73,000 has been raised!!! Beyond the $50,000 goal! For more info on the race and all that this money goes toward, you can check it out HERE​
  • We're finishing out our last few weeks at Mercy Road Northwest, and the leadership has been so kind to us! When we look back at our time at Mercy Road, we just see God's faithfulness and provision. We love this community so deeply, so we are holding a lot of grief as we step out, but we are also so confident and expectant for what the Lord will do in the new season!

Here are some fun pictures from California :) We had such a good time being with family, friends, going to Sea World and Disneyland, and playing in the pool!

WHAT HE HAS BEEN STIRRING IN US

"Apart from me, you can do nothing." — John 15:5

As we’ve stepped out in faith into this new ministry, the Lord keeps bringing us back to this simple but profound truth: apart from Him, we can do nothing.

In the past, it’s been easy to hear this verse and think only in terms of ministry. But in this new season, as we are stripping away and stepping into something completely brand new for us, we’re realizing it really does mean nothing.

We can’t parent well without Him.
We can’t truly love or care for others without Him.
Our finances, our marriage, our friendships, our worship, our plans (big or small), none of it can bear good fruit apart from Him.

He is the source. Everything else flows from staying connected to Him and His Spirit.

Through worship nights and a mobilization school, we’re creating space for students to encounter Jesus, grow in bold faith, and step into their callings. Hi Friend :) Today marks 1 week of work after Sabbatical, and we are feeling refreshed and ready to get things going!! The Lord moved and spoke in such beautiful ways during our time of rest; we are incredibly grateful. He gave us new insights, new encouragements, new songs, and even some new friends!
