Happy New Year
Hey Friends!
We hope you had a wonderful few weeks with family and friends celebrating the birth of Christ and the start of the new year!
We are very excited and expectant as we think about all the the Lord will be doing in students' lives this year, both through AWAKEN Nights on college campuses and Ignite Discipleship School (IDS) this Summer located in Indy.
We'd love to share what the Lord is stirring in us as we've entered the New Year, but first, a few updates!
- Our website is now live!!!! If anyone is ever curious about what we do, how they can give to Ignite, or how to apply for Ignite Discipleship School, this is where to go! Check it out HERE!
- We are finalizing bookings for our spring tour! It's been a long process communicating with schools and locking down dates, but we're making progress! We're excited to be getting things finally locked in.
- We had the opportunity to come alongside some of our friends starting a church on Sunday and it was so beautiful! More about this below :)

WHAT GOD IS STIRRING IN US
Our very dear friends, JD and Liz Collar, are starting a new church called Abide Christian Church and we had the gift of leading worship at their first worship and ministry night on Sunday. It was really beautiful. There was such a distinct purity of worship and desire for the Lord that we believe will continue to mark the culture of this church body that will be forming. But funnily enough, the Lord has been teaching us a lot about abiding in recent weeks, continually bringing us back to John 15.
"I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing" John 15:5
This has led to a lot of reflection, but we've particularly thought a lot about the spaces God is calling us to minister to in this new season. The students we are reaching are not necessarily those who have never heard the Gospel. We are reaching those who proclaim to be Christians, but are disconnected from the vine, and instead of a life marked by abundant life and joy in Christ, they remain in despair, unforgiveness, anger, anxiety, etc. Mady received an image from the Lord recently of a branch that was only connected to the vine by a thread and another that was completely disconnected, both trying desperately to bear fruit. We believe this is what we will see in the students we minister to: children of God that don't realize just how good of a Father He is or that they can actually be connected to God in a way where fruit flows naturally.
We will leave you with this final word from a lyric in the song, Revelation Song - "Jesus, your name is power, breath, and living water"
Thank you, Lord that you provide power, breath, and living water to give us victory, life, and nourishment!

New with us? This is What we do.
Welcome! We are Nick and Mady Wise, we are U.S.-based missionaries under an organization we are helping build called The Ignite Network. The idea is to build an open-handed network dedicated to the Great Commission, raising up disciple makers who carry the Kingdom of God everywhere they go and creating abundant ministry opportunities for those the Lord has called. In the next 5 years or so, we hope to have several "arms" of the network doing important ministry: Ignite the Nations (global missions), Ignite Church Planting (US and global church planting), Ignite Hope (ministering to widows and orphans), and Ignite Next Gen (AWAKEN Nights and the Ignite Discipleship School) which is what the two of us are mainly overseeing.
Narrowing in now, here are some more details about what is going on with our areas: Ignite Discipleship School and AWAKEN Nights.
Ignite Discipleship School (IDS)
- IDS will offer two programs - an 8 week summer program and an 8 month program for students taking a gap year or recently graduated (from HS or college). Whichever program a student participates in, our goal is for our students to know the heart of the Father for them, to come alive in His Spirit, be fully trained and equipped to make disciples, and be sent out into the world. Wherever they end up, they will learn to carry the love and power of God every day. They will be trained in things like evangelism, prayer, spiritual rhythms, biblical literacy, leadership, etc. Our summer program starts June 1st! Know someone that would be interested? AWAKEN Nights
- The goal of AWAKEN Nights is this: we want to awaken the next generation to the love of God and the reality of His Spirit. We want to see students experience the profound freedom of the Gospel! These events will be 2-3 hours of worship, prayer, speaking, and response; each minute will be incredibly intentional in creating a space for students to encounter the Lord.
