End of Year Update

End of Year UPdate

Hey Friends!

The Lord genuinely continues to amaze us with his goodness and faithfulness. With more progress being made in the organization and more partners being brought in, we wanted to send out a newsletter that is much more centered around the details of what we're doing. Our hope is that this not only gives YOU more clarity of what you are partnering with but also serves as something you can SHARE with friends and family that might also be interested in partnering with us! Connections to new ministry partners (financial and prayer!) is one of the greatest ways you can help us. This of course doesn't replace a conversation with us and being able to ask questions, but it can be super helpful for those who want more info before meeting.

What we do

We are U.S.-based missionaries under The Ignite Network, an organization founded by our friends Josh and Lashi Howard that we are helping build. The idea is to build an open-handed network dedicated to the Great Commission, raising up disciple makers who carry the Kingdom of God everywhere they go and creating abundant ministry opportunities for those the Lord has called. What's exciting about what we're building here is just how many opportunities there are. In the next 5 years or so, we hope to have several "arms" of the network doing important ministry: Ignite the Nations (global missions), Ignite Church Planting (US and global church planting), Ignite Hope (ministering to widows and orphans), and Ignite Next Gen (AWAKEN Nights and the Ignite Discipleship School) which is what the two of us are mainly overseeing.

Narrowing in now, here are some more details about what is going on with our areas: Ignite Discipleship School and AWAKEN Nights.

Ignite Discipleship School (IDS)

  • As a brief overview, IDS will offer two programs - an 8 week summer program and an 8 month program for students taking a gap year or recently graduated (from HS or college). Whichever program a student participates in, our goal is for our students to know the heart of the Father for them, to come alive in His Spirit, be fully trained and equipped to make disciples, and be sent out into the world. Wherever they end up, they will learn to carry the love and power of God every day. They will be trained in things like evangelism, prayer, spiritual rhythms, biblical literacy, leadership, etc.
  • Some behind the scenes updates--
    • Things are picking up! We are working on our website, talking about desired outcomes, and talking through logistics like housing, applications, curriculum, and rhythms for the students.
    • We are hoping to move into offices in our new building space in January! The rest of the space will continue being worked on until end of May, as the first day of our summer program is June 1st!

AWAKEN Nights

  • The goal of AWAKEN Nights is this: we want to awaken the next generation of Christians to the love of God and the reality of His Spirit. We want to see students experience the profound freedom of the Gospel! These events will be 2-3 hours of worship, prayer, speaking, and response; each minute will be incredibly intentional in creating a space for students to encounter the Lord.
  • Some behind the scenes updates--
    • AWAKEN Nights this year are fully funded by a partner organization called Sent Ones!
    • Our California trip is booked to go to HIU and minister to their students as well as students of Cal State Fullerton! We will be in Orange County March 20-29th preparing and facilitating the awaken night, and doing other speaking and worship engagements as well.
    • We are in talks with other schools around the country working on getting dates solidified for our spring calendar. We will send it out when it’s finalized!! Once dates are locked in we can book our team and get rehearsal dates on the calendar!

Last update... :)

We are just over 50% funded monthly!!!! GOD IS SO GOOD! If you are part of that, thank you so so much for your generosity and partnering with us to see His Kingdom come here among this generation. It means the world to us.

The Lord has gone above and beyond but we still have a lot more to raise before we are fully funded.

We know EOY giving campaigns can be kinda cheesy sometimes, but here's our idea...

As a discipline of generosity and financial partnership in ministry, would you be willing to commit to giving $100 a month for the entirety of 2026 to support our family and the work we are doing? We are so grateful for each of you and how you are walking with us in this journey!

GOD IS SO GOOD! Guys we have just been in awe of the Lord recently, as we have been witness to some of His miracle working power before our very eyes. We’ve seen people encounter Jesus and make Him King of their lives, lives set free from sin, hearts delivered from anxiety and depression, and powerful healings physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Best of all, all of these people now stepping into relationship with Jesus and reclaiming their identity as a son or daughter of the King!! We...

Hi Friend :) Today marks 1 week of work after Sabbatical, and we are feeling refreshed and ready to get things going!! The Lord moved and spoke in such beautiful ways during our time of rest; we are incredibly grateful. He gave us new insights, new encouragements, new songs, and even some new friends! To put it in a word, Sabbatical was restorative. He restored our energy, our hearts, our family, our creativity, our love for ministry, our rhythms, and our intimacy with Him. The words of Psalm...

Hi Friend :) We are a little over halfway through our sabbatical, with just a week and a half left. This has truly been such a sweet and restful time for our family. The Lord has been so kind to use this season to refresh and reset our hearts as we prepare for the new ministry ahead. These days have been full of simple joys: time together as a family, journaling, writing, praying, and worshiping. We even took a spontaneous trip to Columbus, Ohio. We have gone on walks, played at the park,...
